Us humans project ourselves through pre-existing societal stereotypes as we have been taught to act, feel or believe in a certain way inline with the gender given to us at birth. From a young age, men are taught to define with masculinity and hide their weakness, their vulnerability, their humanity. But being masculine is not what makes a man. What all men have in common is the fear of other men as a result from struggling to adhere to masculine gender stereotypes. This story highlights the vulnerability of the male gender and its masculine culture by creating an intimate connection with the reader through exploring the neutralisation of these fears by transcending toxic masculinity, misogyny, and homophobia.
