Watch Shia LaBeouf spend 24 hours in an Oxford Elevator
Published on 19 February 2016
This morning at 9 am, Shia LaBeouf, the actor is locking himself in an elevator at the EC English Oxford union for 24 hours, for his new project #ELEVATE. He’s calling it an “art performance” and he would like students who join him in the lift to give a “performance of monologues.” The elevator in question leads to the historic Oxford debating chamber which is open to the public and streaming live on Youtube right now. LaBeouf will be joined by comrades Tuner and Rönkkö possibly to continue the dialog from last years #TOUCHMYSOUL escapade.
“Visitors will be able to join LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner inside the elevator during this time, and are invited to address the artists, the debating chamber, and the Internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address.”
