Gucci's Pre Fall 2016 Campaign
Published on 29 March 2016
A month after the unveiling of its fall runway collection, Gucci has released its pre-fall 2016 campaign against the colorful setting of a glass-domed aviary. Photographed by Glen Luchford, models Lucas Dambrod, Polina Oganicheva, Eva Minaeva, Fionnan Perkins, Lia Pavlova, Anton Toftgard, Elle Van Ravels, Nicole Atieno and Laura Melerh wear whimsical designs including printed pantsuits, pleated skirts and knit sweaters. Adding to the eclectic gathering, a backdrop of colorful blooms and large birds adds to the diverse vibe.
Shot by Glen Luchford and styled by Jane How, Gucci's pre-fall 16 campaign transports you to an exotic world filled with bizarre and eccentric creatures; set in a glass-domed aviary, where wild plants grow in amongst stacks of old books, and tropical birds wander freely across patterned rugs, the campaign perfectly captures Alessandro Michele's taste for the whimsical and flare for theatrics. It also chimes in with the brand's exquisite new botanical prints, modelled here by a bevy of bright young things, including model of the moment, Lia Pavlova, who walked the most shows this season.
